I have always been an advocate of life-long learning. So, at the age of 47, I enrolled in the MBA program at the University of Liverpool. What was my motivation? After 30 years in the automotive industry, many of which were in leadership positions, it was time to gain my academic credentials to move forward.
The UOL Management School is amongst an elite group of business schools to hold the gold standard ‘triple-crown’ accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS & AMBA. The Economist ranked the University of Liverpool MBA in the top 100 while CEO Magazine gave it a Tier One Rank. The program included in-depth development on being a Leader, Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Innovation & Change, Strategic Human Resources, Operational Management as well as Project Management.
After a demanding journey full of learning and new experiences, on Wednesday 19 July 2017, I accepted my University of Liverpool MBA with Distinction. Graduating 4th in my year was making all those late nights and weekends well worth the effort.
